NDT Solutions acts as consultants for a number of collaborative projects supporting the development of new inspection systems for non-destructive testing. In BONDSHIP, a €4.6 M project funded by the European Commission, NDT Solutions are investigating novel inspection methods for testing marine structures. The research engineers at NDT Solutions have published many papers and recently presented with the Technical Achievement Award, industrial accolade, for the Development and Deployment of an Ultrasonic Non-destructive Quality Inspection System for Adhesively Bonded Metal Joints.

Reasons for participating
This project will further strengthen NDT Solution's position in the NDE inspection market. In particular, NDT Solutions is looking to increase its market share by offering the Sure2GRiP developed phased array system to areas such as the USA, SE Asia and the burgeoning markets in Northern Europe that have significant oil production and refining interests.

Role in the project
WP-E Manager: PSC: The company will develop and manufacture the NDE phased array prototype system and the Sales Director, Dr Richard Freemantle, will be part of the exploitation team.
